Inactive Ingredients
- Lactose and Magnesium Stearate added as
fillers.
The action of each ingredient is as follows:
Mercurius iodatus ruber: Commonly called Mercury Biniodide
has proved to provide relief from peritonsillitis if given frequently.
It is useful in painfully engorged sub maxillary glands, dark
red fauces, worse in left tonsil, parenchymatous tonsillitis,
painful swallowing, and sensation of a lump in the throat with
a disposition to cough and cold.
Belladonna: Commonly called Deadly Night Shade, relieves
dry, glazed, red throat, tickling, dry cough, scraping sensation
in the throat, difficulty in swallowing and cold.
Kali muriaticum: Commonly called Potassium Chloride
is used to treat follicular tonsillitis, stuffy cold, thick mucus
in bronchi which is difficult to cough up, sore throat and enlarged/
inflamed tonsils.
Baryta carbonica: Commonly called Barium Carbonate,
relieves swelling of tonsils and sub maxillary glands, inflammation
of tonsils which is seen on every exposure to cold, burning pain
when swallowing, dry suffocative cough, sneezing and throat problems
arising from over use of voice.
Ferrum phosphoricum: Commonly called Ferri Phosphate,
is suitable for ulcerated sore throat, red and swollen tonsils,
tickling cough, running nose, marked exhaustion, headache and
fever.
INDICATIONS:
For temporary symptomatic relief of symptoms associated with
sore throat, tonsillitis, adenoiditis, bronchitis, headache and
fever.
DOSAGE:
You may take Throat Aid with meals or on an empty stomach.
- Adults and Children over 12: 1 tablet 3 times a day.
- Children 2 to 12 years of age: 1 tablet 2 times a day.
- Children under 2 years of age, consult a doctor.
- Tablets may be chewed, swallowed or dissolved in a cup of
lukewarm water. This product will not cause drowsiness or impair
ability to operate a motorized vehicle and may be taken with
other medications.
Because Homeopathic Remedies work by stimulating the body's defense systems,
if you frequently suffer from throat problems, you should start taking the remedy
even when you do not experience discomfort. Taking the remedy before the onset
of soreness and discomfort will in many instances prevent an attack from occurring.
You should continue to take the remedy about two months AFTER the symptoms have
